Amber wins a Group 2, second only to Mr. Jimmy Moses and the German Shepard, Ch Windwalker's Leroy Brown. Not bad at all for this young bitch (17 months old).

Amber at the Mission Circuit

at 19 months of age.  That day she won Best of Breed over her daddy (Stan) and three other top-ranked male specials.

Amber wins enough points

to be accepted into the

Briard Hall of Fame

and leaves the show ring

for the whelping box.

Back in the ring

after puppies.  Amber at 4

wins a Group 3.

Amber wins the Brood Bitch Class at the 2002 National Specialty in Sacramento. She had five out of her second litter of puppies at the show. Zsa Zsa, Bacall, Garbo, and Simcha all earned their Herding Instinct Certificates and Simcha and Bogart earned their CGC titles. All this at barely 6 months old!

After her third litter of puppies, Amber made it clear that she wanted to show again.  So, we took her out and she started placing in Groups.  She ended up the Number 8 Briard in the country for 2003 (breed points).

This is Amber's last group placement.  She earned it in October right before she died.  I have included this picture because even though it was windy and rainy, I showed her to this Group placement myself.  Thank you to all the judges who rewarded this beautiful girl, the love of my life.
